I haven't oreo's for about 20 years, but last month I made a recipe that used them so I had a couple...
That white filling is nasty! It tasted like crisco with sugar in it. I do not remember that greasy shortening texture that you can't quite get off your tounge.
I'll never buy another one! I would buy just the wafer part... which is what I will do next time. Restaurant Depot sells a carton of just oreo cookie crumbs.

personally i like a nice chewy oatmeal raisin... but have just recently taken a liking to oreos.
even had reason to take photos that involved oreos/oreo wrappers.
T3 posted a photo on his FaceBook page of his healthy work environment, a nice clean shelf all organized with several healthy snack choices.
it just so happens i had a similar dedicated area, so i snapped a quick pic and posted mine... in support of course.
the caption read: Hey look... i'm just like Tim... promoting a healthy workspace!
See the "Shake Weight" under my monitor... it's right there... behind the Oreos!!!
and this pic i just post here on s101 a day or two ago.
i think it's pretty self explanatory, clearly an oreo wrapper hanging there at the bottom.

I don't find the Dos Equis guy interesting at all...looks like a panty sniffer to me.
How much is a package of those things?
I only buy Oreos for Jus when they're on sale.
He can eat a package in one sitting yet remain skinny.
He gets generic oreos, which even I won't eat when I'm in such a chocolate urge that I'd eat Hershey's syrup by the spoonful. Don't hate.

Not a big fan of oreo's. Every once in a while but the fact ants will pass up an oreo, makes me think they are probably not the greatest choice for a cookie.
