Get a grip you fool. Racist........ ?? Maybe, but what do you call them ?? They hardly speak our language, let alone understand the words or their meanings and you wanna call them.............. ?? They wanna take advantage of their so-called language barrier, but they sure know how to count our money. They have more ways of skinning a cat to achieve a task though their intentions of skinning you. I've interpenetrated orientals, spanish, ebonics and lotsa others, but for them to tell me how to conduct MY business, is just plain stoopid. Gino isn't acting racist here, perhaps intolerant, but one can only put up with so many engrish folk before one starts getting frustrated. So his biggest gripe is folks not speaking the language of the land, and he's drawn the pretty direct conclusion that if the borders are closed, there will be fewer language barriers.

I feel your pain.In the last few months, I've had so many phone calls from people who think they're speaking English, but AREN'T. Cripes, this one wants this, this and that. Another wants his truck lettered. Another one wants a new sign on top of his store front. Then they call back and I don't know which one it is cause they all sound frickin' alike.
The one today calls around noon. Says he wants letters for his truck. That only took about 10 minutes to get outta him.
*Gave him a price after he said it was about a 14" x 24" area. Okay.
*You can take old letters off ??
Yeah, but for additional costs.

It takes time to do and I don't know what's on there, now.
He sends me a picture and I never got to see it as I was giving another customer his truck to leave.
Tractor pulls up with another accented guy. He says, I'm here, boss.
For what ??
Take off my old lettering and put on new.
That can't be done today anymore, I'll need 2 to 3 hours and this isn't what he told me was what he needed.
Just then, another frickin' phone call and the guy says he wants this done right away. I started overheating.
I said to him I don't cater to dealing with liars. The wording wasn't what you said, that was a lot more to take off than you indicated and that's a different truck in the picture than the one outside here.
Told him to either get his sh!t straight or do it himself, just don't come back here
It's just so hard talking and understanding these fools and I'm getting them all mixed up, cause they all have the same name, but expect me to drop a $1,700 vehicle I'm working on or a $4,500 post & panel to talk d!ck to them.

So most of the time we hear about how immigrants are bringing crime and watering down our essential "American" character or their disease-ridden or whatever faschy bs people spew - but I'm not sure that I've heard "These people with their money to spend keep patronizing my business!!!" Yeah, we all know it sucks when somebody with crappy English walks in and creates a communications headache, but dude . . . do you LIKE money or not?

What's a crock is that people feel like they can come on a sign board and pop off with some tacky political bs and then act butthurt when people rightly throw it back at them.
Yes, I like money. However, I DO wanna know what I'm making/doing for it, without the parameters changing 14 times due to their poor knowledge of our language, then my having to do things over because of their lack of knowledge of how to communicate.
I'm picturing some derelict sitting behind a computer, waiting to pounce on a subject he/she feels strongly about and wants to instigate a fight..... not a discussion or debate, but just argue. There's nothing political about this subject, other than how you fuel it.
I started out by telling a few stories of lousy communicators, who are too lazy to come to the shop, where I can/could better communicate with people with all the samples and pictures in this place. They send me pictures of totally different vehicles, different wording, different sizes and you wanna make this political ??
Just this morning a foreign speaking person calls and wants to know the cost to letter his 8' x 8' front window.
What's going on ??
A coupla words and maybe a simple picture of a car.
Send me a picture of it.
Got it. 11 words with photoshopped words, about 75 stars of all kindsa sizes, picture of a car with more photoshop crap and some kinda design with all kindsa effects and more photoshopping.
He wanted to know if I could do it today ??
Gave him a price and he said for just some words and a simple picture ??
