Max cable length for Graphtec

I have a friend with a problem. What is the longest cable that can be used between computer and Graphtec plotter. She wants the cutter wired but moved to another room.

I have always been told USB is good up to 12-15' MAX!

yeah but i believe you can daisy chain powered usb hubs...

Not to pour water on the circumstances, but what a hassle if the computer is in one room and the vinyl cutter is in another room. How can you effectively monitor what the cutter and vinyl are doing if you are not in the room to monitor?

We ran ours 35 feet. USB Booster cables work fine.

Have client in TN that is using this setup (USB) along with CAT5 cable... Almost 30' away if I remember correctly.

I found a 25 foot cable at Fry's and it's working great!! I also am running a Graphtec. FC8000 - 160

It's a Graphtec!! Doesn't need much monitoring!!
