Hello all, I am a mechanic by trade and draw on the side. I would love to start sign painting but know little about it. I am curious as to what brush I should start with. I say brush not brushes because like everyone I'm on a tight budget. Is there a good general brush out there for learning with? I've already got a can of One Shot and a Mack striping brush. I play around with that on milk jugs and beer bottles. I want to letter though. Any suggestions?? Thank you in advance.

You should find plenty of advice on the subject of hand lettering if you use the search feature above. There was a lengthy discussion about six months ago. I think Pat Whatley was the original poster.

Welcome from the sunshine state. I'll be in Orlando today delivering a sign!
