Unfortunately, most advancements in tools lead to the decline of knowledge in what those tools abstract away. Seen that in a lot of fields, including some that people in here participate in. People nowadays know the abstraction, not what is under the hood and at some point that's going to blow up. While I used to like my tech more in the past, there are some good aspects of it, just can't lose sight of can one still do something if the power goes out, the internet goes down etc.
