they set the prices? wouldn't that be a bad thing for most people who do wraps as no one's overhead is the same. how does that work?

What seems interesting about them setting the prices is, that if what has been said in this thread is accurate about the pricing they allow for installers, they are WAY under industry standard pricing! Which would be an absolute first for 3M.

But that is understandable when you consider how many middlemen have been added to the pie now. The Auto dealer wants to profit, 3M Original Wraps wants to profit, the printer wants to profit, the installer wants to profit. Each one of those pieces of the pie is going to shrink, unless ultimately the consumer pays more.
