Anybody know what the true term for a bracket that holds 1/2inch sign board on say a 4x4 post..like an L braket but has the channel that runs the length of sign.
And who sells them...which I am sure I can find once I know the real name of them..
thanks auto fx..but Im looking for the style that a 1/2 sign board fits into between to post and screw right into and the bracket screws rt on the inside of each post. Looks clean...I used to rout the a 4x4 and slide in..but the bracket is much easier cleaner. But when i call a suplliers they seem to have no idea what i am talking about..yret I see them all over the place..
ok.. ..so dummy me I guess it would be and L bracket.. But the ones I have seen are premade...Flat stock with 2 L brackets to slip sign rt into and just screw it bolt wat ev and its done...
+2 on get a break and make your own...OR use the PVC post and frame system and be a professional! I have used these and they beat any treated 4x4 out there! http://www.auesignframes.com/default.aspx He is a member on here and does great work/price/service! Thumbs up from the Mosh!
Grimco has them and they are called U-Brackets. I use them all the time and work great. Just don't use the center brackets that are below the u-brackets because they are completely useless.
