Sorry Boudica, but a 'cunt hair' is the least possible amount a man can adjust a measurement. It's less than fudge to the short side. And that shit dates back to busting wood in the 70's.

Metric is leaps and bounds better than imperial, however I was taught imperial and it's what I use as well.
I do wish we used the A standard for paper/print sizes here, everything is the same aspect ratio, makes scaling artwork a breeze! no more clients sending you a 8.5"x11" flyer and wanting you to print it at 24"x36" for their A-Frame sign

A series is great - a cube A0xA0xA0 of water weighs one metric tonne (1189x841mm=1sqM)

Worked with an American intern recently, who claimed to not get the metric system, so I had to perform plenty of mental arithmetic to accommodate her units of choice. Fortunately, I grew up with photographic paper sizes, which were always stated first in inches, then metric. My achilles heel is translating A-series to inches - aint no-one got time for that.

This was based on various international ways to keep a safe distance.

Hmmmm........ but counting your money and things is a different story, along with weights & measures. They only standardized those things in the late 1800s, but not everyone is on the same page, yet. It's more basic, but over here, we all know what all the indicators mean..... except for the illegal aliens and the dumb ones.

Problem for me was the imperial tools available to me were of lets say questionable quality...
First time it was a Summachrome in 95, then a Vutek in 2015... Tools either not hard enough and wearing down after short use, or too hard and breaking...
I love my PB, WERA, Wiha and Stahlwille tools... they last a lifetime(or get replaced for free)
