I have a client that wants to wrap the utility bed style tow truck(new truck).
It is red and he basically still wants truck red with just a little lettering (no designs)

He looking to protect paint finish more than anything else.

So, my question would you print red on wrap material and with wrap laminate
or is there some wrap clear maybe that is more like a paint protection film.

What would you all recommend?

Tell him to do it the right way and have it cleared with many coats of clear at a body shop. If he wants to cut corners and put a vinyl covering over it, he can't be none to bright.

DiamondFinish Clear and many others from which to choose.

Depending on the design I'd:
a) sell him the wrap
b) print it
c) stick it on the truck
d) profit!

My suggestion would be the first one. I think print red on wrap material would be the way to go. According to me that will definitely suit the truck.

Good suggestions...but it's a tow truck! I know these guys like to look like Nascar track trucks but the things get beat up. Not much is going to protect it from chains or hooks getting tossed around.
