Yes -- but I figured it out. I didn't think it mattered what file might be highlighted if I was setting the queue settings - but it does. If a PDF was highlighted, I couldn't change EPS margin for the Q. Selected an EPS and then I could!
Thanks for the help!
I sometimes see Versaworks clips files with cutlines if they are saved as EPS ( see screenshot ). If they're saved as PDF's no issue.
I've read about the EPS margin setting, however it's grayed out ( I don't have an integrated print / cut printer ).
Saving as a PDF is fine, but I'd like to...
wow
I can't believe you did this to a friend! I'd hate to see what you'd do to your enemies!!
I think the only correct course of action in a case like this is to just give your shop to him, and beg for forgiveness.
Kidding of course. Doesn't sound like you did anything wrong in the slightest.
I'm noticing some banding with my Soljet Pro III that occurs only with certain colors ( or at least is more noticable ).
I've done the feed calibration ( of course ), slowed head speed, raised/lowered temps, switched to unidirectional mode -- makes some slight differences, but it's still there...
Thanks for all the feedback
Interesting feedback, I suspected I'm not the only person to have had this happen. :-)
As someone mentioned, you can collect most of the fees you incurred while attempting to collect, but yep, what a @_#)( pain in the a** to be forced to do so. But the paperwork is...
I'm in Oregon, I won a small claims case against a Speedpro in Misson Valley, California.
Collecting the award is a bit of a challenge, the owner is just ignoring it. So I'll need to get a sister state order ( as I understand it, based on talking with court staff in California ) to enforce the...
I'd like to hear from shops that have used commission-only sales people.
1) How did you find them?
2) How did you help them be successful?
3) Were there products you found them to be most effective in selling?
Thanks!
Customer wants stickers on 10x10 sheets
The customer wants stickers on 10x10 sheets, so they're ok just peeling off one or two as needed, starting at the top of the sheet. I agree, if they had to dig around to get the one they needed, it would be a real pain, but this didn't seem like it would...
I'm using Versaworks and have a Roland GX-500 cutter.
I'm printing and cutting out sheets of 1"x1" stickers. It seems like a huge waste of time to have the cutter cut out 100 squares if all it really needs to do is cut 10 vertical lines and 10 horizontal lines.
Is there a good way to set...
We're having some issues with an Arlon wall wrap adhering to a concrete block wall. The wall was cleaned and paint was in good shape. Material adhered well to it.
The issue is that now it's sunny the wrap is shrinking quite a bit. It is about 9' tall, has been up for about two months, but in...
A customer is a high-end coffee/desert place, and they're looking for a nicer alternative to the the acrylic 8 x 11 holders that sit next to the cash register and display info on specials, etc. They think the displays start looking a little ratty after swapping out graphics several times. Just...
Thanks for the replies
Hmm. I was certainly tempted to run it over earlier today.
I think getting a step bit and making a hole big enough to work with makes a lot of sense. I was wondering how well a screwdriver would work to access the nut through that small opening.
And I hate to...
I'm trying to replace some signs that are attached to square channel posts using anti-theft bolts.
There's nothing to access from the outside, other than a pretty smooth top of the bolt. It looks like there's some sort of wingnut on the inside, I'm guess it works similar to a toggle bolt...
