from what I read there is suppose to be a possible hex that could adjust this other than the screw but if you notice the screw doesn't touch anything all way screwed in and the screws on the left are the ones that I think are suppose to be hex because all you can do is take that other screw and...
how do I do that? I tried with those screws but as you can see the first print and the second print there is no difference yet all the feed and scan adjustments I did seem fine
Any easy fix to this or is this close enough? Installed new printhead but I notice the test print is a tad bit off. I saw where you can use those two screws under where it sits to adjust it but on mine, the screws don't reach in the middle hole and you can only tighten to the right on the left...
nevermind, every time I post on here after struggling hours to figure it out myself, a minute later something pops up and I figure out a fix - lol - somehow in the maintenance mode it had the ink set on unknown. Once I changed that to eco max and restarted the machine it stopped trying to fill...
I installed a new printhead on my sp 300, this is the second time I have done a printhead install on my own. I couldn't find the old video I used for the first one but found another that walked me through it. Problem is, after restarting - it wants to do this fill ink thing that is wasting all...
I know I have seen this but with the millions of fonts I can't find it and this is the only image I have. Any help would be appreciated! - The second I posted after looking all day yesterday I found it! Sorry!
well, I was able to find the cable card out of california. I have one guide guess I will try to clean one of the ones I take off. Now its a waiting game......
It's getting harder and harder to find parts for these old outdated printers without ordering from China - then it's a long wait for delivery. I'm needing a cable card with guides for an old Roland sp-300, anyone still sell them or know of someone who does?
Thanks in advance!
I am trying to match oracal 970RA color 553 Lagoon but my pantone charts are so old there is nothing even close. I have to send this out to a wholesaler because my machine is too small but the only way they can match the color is with a Pantone number. I really don't want to spend a couple...
Good news - I'm up and running. I took the piece that snapped off from the old printhead and put it on the new one, replaced the dampers again even though they were new, sucked the lines just in case and its running beautifully. Even the old profile in the new flexi is working properly and I'm...
yes, that is exactly what I was in the process of doing, and guess what - I went back to check the damper to make sure it was sitting right and it snapped the stem right off in the damper. Now I'm trying to figure out how to take that part from the old one and put it on the new one. I have had...
So, I got the printhead in, then my tech said he couldn't install it until next week. This is the same tech who taught me how to fix all the parts in my machine that I have throughout the years. I asked him do you think its something I could do - I saw a video online? He said absolutely and if...
Thanks, I've got a few phone calls in waiting to hear. And yes, I have changed just about everything in this machine myself too (the tech taught me) - except I have never had to replace a print head in all the years of running it. I bought it with only 9 hours on it and had to replace the heads...
Anyone know where I could get a printhead for an old versacamm sp-300 and also get it installed here in Florida between Daytona and Orlando? Or atleast get the printhead and attempt it myself?
