as i just started cutting direct, i have only noticed it a few times. some jagged cuts are on outline objects as well, so dont think it is just a text thing.

When i am cutting from Corel X3 my lines are jagged. not all of them ,but mostly text. i cut direct to roland without using "cutcontour" as outline, if that makes a difference. are there any reasons like need to convert to curves, or something simple like that i can try? its not terribly...

i am trying to make some lettering have a gradient fill. but when i "fit text to path" or "envelope" the lettering, it changes the gradient and does not allow it to do a smooth curve like the letters. (pulling hair out...at least what i have left) thanks in advance for the help. randy oh...

i think i will get one just for the spatula tool. so neat.

new to Omega 3.0 and trying to put a fill inside some lettering. wondering how, as the manual i have does not go into this detail. (at least i cant find it) wondering if there is something like the POWER CLIP in Corel. thanks randy

we do a bit of huntin here as well. but i guess i wouldnt be throwin out the "i drink, drive and shoot my gun" story too loud. around here it may be done as well, but people dont brag about it. but go have a good time and stop worrying bout impressing anybody. just take care and get home...

ordered 2 of them... use them constantly. use for applying application tape to cut graphics and laying down prints and cut graphics. great addition to our tool crib.

OKAY-- i was told this is a re-packaged graphtec. it has optical registration and tangential cut capabilities. anything else anybody can come up with? oh yeah it also comes packaged with Omega 3.0 software. very resonable too. brand spanking new and all.

is anybody using this plotter to cut their edge graphics? if so what are some pro's and con's? thanks randy

need one to go with the gerber edge. i believe 15 inch is the size.

where can i get either a used or new cutter to go with my gerber? i am also looking for a roll holder, or will one of those transmasking rollers work? i think thats what it is called anyway. thanks all

I'd be curious to hear what the job is like that you are using primer. i was printing on gray vinyl (hey its what i had) and trying to get a yellow to orange fade. turned out nice too, if i may say so myself.

when importing a file (say an .eps or .jpg) to composer, how do the colors from the original transpose over to the composer file after doing the file convert? or do i need to re-input the colors once converted? would make for impossible on gradient fills of more than one color.

oops- one more thing....... how the heck do you get the letters like "o,d,p, etc" to not be filled? hmmmmm again it is graphix adv. software. thanks

i finally got machine to print my logo with gradient. whoo hooo!!!!! now to try something more complex........... one question though---do i need to design so colors are not overlapped or just apply primer (yup found that one on my own--shocking i know) then foil?
