Well here is what we found.... with the new Windows update, it caused something to go wrong with profiles. Updated latest finecut8 software and seems to be working once again. Hope it stays flawless. Been a great machine for me. Thanks for looking and trying to help folks. Much appreciated.

it now appears the client would like just one sign. not multiple. ugh! would direct print to aluminum be an option, if it is even available. I understand the minimum qtys for screen printing is a deterant for most wholesalers. thanks wes70 that may be the option I have to take.

I have a client looking for a sign for several playgrounds. They need to be extremely durable and kid resistant. What substrate has been working best for these type of applications? Also, which vinyl/ overlam would be best? I currently use Arlon and Oracal to print on and various laminates.

this may sound dumb, but I have tried both ways.....1- rolling backing paper on the take-up roll and 2- not rolling it, but I have to constantly pull it from the print and lam. which way seems to work best? sorry so many questions, but as skdave said tech support not much help. :(

switched to a thicker core and seems to be doing fine. Now on to the other issues with it. keep getting creases in final laminated print. UGH!!! acts like backing paper is crinkling (i think thats a word) under print causing it to crease. I am trying different speed and such and re-loading...

I am having issues with the laminator take-up device not keeping up with the rollers. it is a brand new unit and just started experiencing this prob. the roll holder has new rubbers to hold cardboard roll tight. Any hints or tricks to figure this one out? Thanks Randy

Thamks for all the replys, but there has got to be a way to print fluorescent "looking" colors. I understand the whole color gamut issue, but on a test print, it printed the fluorescent looking colors beautifully. it does not need to be actual fluorescent, only needs to look like the color...

Is there a color chart for Corel X3 or X4 that depicts good flourescents? I have some hunting banners that need printing and have no idea (unfortunately) where to get those color profiles. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks--Randy
