Getting ready to hang a large HDU and aluminum sign on a block wall. The sign will weigh between 100 and 150#. It's going outside so anything wood or plastic would probably nor work so I found these aluminum French cleats. Does anyone know of a better alternative? Thanks...

If you were going to mount some cut-out MaxMetal letters on a wood background with standoffs to accommodate LED lights, what would you use for standoffs.? We don't want screws showing. And what type LED;s would you use for a halo effect? Thanks
