Justin Pate uses vinegar/water for general cleaning and alcohol/water as a degreaser.
I have 4-5 bottles of each on the shelf inthe garage at home from when I took his wrap class last year.
I stock their matte canvas and the stuff is great. Unfortunately their gloss isnt as high of a gloss as we would like.
My boss e-mailed our contact over at Pitman (Agfa) and asked what material it was. He confirmed it was the Epson GS Gloss Canvas.
I appreciate the help.
Looks like the material was over stretched during install and is trying to shrink back to its original size.
My only thought would be to try and not stretch as much.
Mirrors are a big PITA.
I have a GBC laminater with heated rollers. The roller temps are usually always around 100* unless Im laminating with write-erase lam or the 3m Car wrap lam.
Im the 3 years we have had it, there has been maybe 5-10' of heat transfer lamination ran through it and that was as a demo...
I assume they have a general weight for packaging.
We buy them by the 1000s from Hiker directly. Never had the thought to count something that cost a couple pennies each.
I am looking for a high gloss artist canvas that is make for Eco-solvent printing.
I have a printed sample I picked up from the Agfa booth at the ISA show. At the time I was more interested in the printing than the material.
We have a client that wants to do wedding photos on a high gloss...
Ive been able to cut alumalite on my Excalibur, takes a couple passes but did the job well. Probably took me maybe 5-10 minutes to cut 4- 4"x6" pieces.
Ive had a similar issue due to the safety device on my laminator.
I was lucky once being able to run the print back through the laminator(lamination not threaded) starting with the opposite end and it got most of the bubbles out.
I have also had it to the point I had to reprint it...
Any option using your existing table would add some extra height to it.
Build a small braced box a little larger than the top (49x97) about 4-5" high, place a couple 3' shop lights in the box, put a sheet of milk plex on top and put your cutting mat on that. Essentially its just a 4x8 light box.
Something like those I would just make myself. 8"x8" plates and some 1" road with a steel ball on the end. Probably be less than $100 and a couple hours to make.
We use photozoom4 as well as vector magic on low res images people give us for wide format as well as regular offset printing.
They both do a pretty good job.
We talked to you at ISA, its been a pain trying to get the 4 of us over here to be available at the same time to go over. I may personally come over and check it out.
Ive always been told that on a resume you never want to list more than 3 of the most recent or most applicable jobs. Also want to keep it as short and to the point as possible.
As far as educations goes, most employers arent going to car about anything you read or watched on the internet...
