  1. UCJV330 Specs, Price, Etc.

So my plan to jam most of a JFX200 into a UCJV300-160 is still financially viable! At that price, they better toss in a slitter at the very least.
  2. UCJV330 Specs, Price, Etc.

Just wondering if anyone has seen these in the wild yet? Seems pricing is still listed as TBB (but they show in stock and a 5-star rating, impressive). Not a lot to go on from the videos they've released recently and the spec sheet only goes into so much detail. If I were to guess, they seem to...
  3. Mimaki UJV100-160 SOUND

Open some panels and look around, if you can find the part making the noise, take a picture of it.
  4. Mimaki UJV100-160 SOUND

My bad, thought the thing was Gen5 based.
  5. Mimaki UJV100-160 SOUND

The chirping sounds you're hearing is likely the air pump. The UV printers use a vacuum/pressure system to fill the subtanks and the sound you're hearing is it maintaining that pressure. Not an indicator of a leak or anything, as the vacuum system is pretty much on-demand, but the pressure...
  6. Sub Tank Overfilling on UJF-6042 MKII

Remote chance that is the cause. Check to see if any connections got snagged or disconnected. PCB sliders aren't cheap, so good to double check before replacing one of those. Could potentially be a head fault as well that is messing with the slider PCB. But tends to give a head error in that...
  7. Not printing after ink expired

The expiration warning tends to be a warning for a month before expiration before refusing to print. Easiest bet is to swap the cartridge or chip and go from there. While the expiration flag may be set for the ink, it doesn't automatically turn into liquid death at the stroke of midnight. Could...
  8. mimaki cjv150 print head and pump problem

Dampers should be fine as long as there is no dried up ink or other material clogging them. Seals should be nice and fresh too. Heads are pricey, hope the manual flush gets you going.
  9. Mimaki JFX200-2513 Idler/Tensioner pulley question

I BARELY made out a F699 on the bearing shield, but it was an incredibly light stamping.
  10. mimaki cjv150 print head and pump problem

Have you tried priming the head manually with a syringe? Can be a bit messy but should force any air out. Move the head over to the left side, grab a wad of towels or a drip tray, remove your dampers and manually feed ink or cleaning solvent through each channel. If you notice cleaner/ink...
  11. Mimaki JFX200-2513 Idler/Tensioner pulley question

From the pulley on a UJF-6042 and a TS300P, both use a F699ZZ. Might differ on other pulleys. Seems to be the same on the idler as well as the drive 'stacked' pulley. https://www.lily-bearing.com/products/f699zz/
  12. CJV150-130

I have a CJV150-103 with ES3. Still haven't gotten the head replaced, but can probably get those parameters. Just need to change the MECHA size parameter to be a 130.
  13. Mimaki JFX200-2513 Idler/Tensioner pulley question

The bearings should hold just fine. If they do fail, just spring for fancier bearings for $25. What was the part number on them? Might help folks in the future reading this thread.
  14. Mimaki cjv150-160 New epl3 Board Upgrade - Error 203 ment commant

Messing with parameters is fun! Experiment, take notes and share them for all the other crazy mofos on the board! =)
  15. UJF 7151 plus thread.

There is compensation adjustment in RasterLink (using 7) under the quality tab. That might help a bit. Never used it here however.
  16. UJF 7151 plus thread.

Nice fix. And yeah, the heaters can build up a crazy out of gunk for a sealed system. Make sure to get the propylene glycol ratio right and should keep things from growing in it as well.
  17. UJF-6042 Problem with Magenta draining

Clogged bleeder filter on the dampers for me results in issues with filling with me, yeah, tied into the same system. The air solenoids, when bad tend to be clogged with ink (check clear lines leading to them for signs of ink getting into those lines). Or, when the seals go wonky, the air pump...
  18. UJF-6042 Problem with Magenta draining

Yup, under the ink bottles behind the back panel is a series of valves. Have the service manual handy?
  19. UJF-6042 Problem with Magenta draining

MK1 or MK2? Might be an ink valve leaking.
  20. Mimaki JFX200-2513 Idler/Tensioner pulley question

I can check on a scrap printer, since most seem to use the same assembly. That said, best bet is seeing if you can read the part number stamped into the bearing itself and sourcing a decent branded replacement.
