  1. Mispost, Please Ignore/Delete

    My bad.
  2. UCJV300 A/B DTF, does it work?

Been looking at this as well. Does the excess glue have to be scraped off, run through a vinyl cutter, or is there a way to wash off the excess?
  3. Where does this fault lie?

Definitely worth checking the pump/pump tubing, but might be the head. If absolutely nothing is firing, things like head cable and fuses would be pretty suspect. Should be getting something with a fresh priming.
  4. UJF-6042 Problem with Magenta draining

  5. Mimaki JV33-160 parameter

See if you can turn the motor freely by hand with the power switched off.
  6. Mimaki JV33-160 parameter

Might be a jammed up motor pulling too much current and tripping the error.
  7. UJF-6042 Problem with Magenta draining

If you have the installation/setup guide (Can download from Mimaki as well), it shows how to set the pressure on the printer. Usually done on installation, but those valves can creep out over time.
  8. Question Help me pick a Mimaki rinter

Ahh, no price on the Mimaki USA site, never bothered checking with a dealer.
  9. Question Help me pick a Mimaki rinter

Last I checked, they haven't even released pricing on the UCJV330. That said, one thing I HATE about early printers is that there is rarely a cheap way to get revised parts for cheap to fix the screwups. Like updating a UJF from a wiper nozzle to a suction nozzle for better head reliability, $3K...
  10. Need Help Mimaki error 190

The power supply voltage is adjustable, so hopefully it just needs tweaking. If not, those TDK Lambda units can be pricey buggers.
  11. Need Help Mimaki error 190

Might be a bad EPL (main board), could be voltages, or disconnected wires. Does it ever boot, or does it throw the error immediately?
  12. JFX200-2513 Print-head temp

Found the recommended temps for the UV inks, at least for the UJF-7151. Should be the same.
  13. Mimaki CJV150 splashes ink around capping station when cleaning

Make sure your wiper is set right, can adjust it in the service menu. If you have the setup guide, it should be in there. Could also be old built up ink in the wiper slot that isn't allowing it to seat down properly causing the blade to act like a slingshot for ink drops hanging out on the...
  14. Mixing Ink Bottle Sizes

Had a thread on chips but it got black-holed. If under warranty, you are best sticking with Mimaki supplies in-date to comply with their end. We run all used machines here, so we do all sorts of dumb, fun and crazy stuff with ours.
  15. JFX200-2513 Print-head temp

If anyone is running a UJF-30/6042, can do that as well. Mine are all gone/down at the moment. (They do use CE4 heads, but similar waveform properties to the GEN5)
  16. JFX200-2513 Print-head temp

If you have a working profile, can just warm the head up for a nozzle check then go to #TEST> SENSOR menu and scroll through that.
  17. Mixing Ink Bottle Sizes

Can get self-resetting chips for both PR-200 and LH100, so all good there. Primer is cursed for me, but I use the channel for homebrew metallic ink and it basically gives me an extra spot color.
  18. Mixing Ink Bottle Sizes

Mixing bottles is fine. What ink set are you using? If it's LH-100, can do self-resetting chips or can just modify the expiration date on them.
  19. Mimaki CJV150 splashes ink around capping station when cleaning

Could be clogged lines at your capping station not draining properly, try executing a Disway Wash and seeing if the lines are draining properly. Not uncommon for the lines to become partially or fully clogged.
  20. Question Can you print multiple passes of clear ink UCJV300-160

Yup, pullback is needed because gloss ink has to settle before it is cured. Otherwise the droplets don't have time to spread out and you get matte.
