i know the ss2 inks just bead up on the static cling. es3 inks will print on it, but high ink coverage can be an issue still.
try running uni dir. high passes, high heat and perhaps add a delay between passes to let the ink bite a little longer
I'll have to check into that one mosh :) otherwise we use it to protect unlaminated / flatbed signs when packaging and stacking them up. That and covering work tables when finishing double-sided banners and such.
Those were some of the ugliest prints we ever did for the cheyenne mtn. zoo! lmao.

i like the font on the left waaaay better than the right. it pops nicely (as a sign typically should). the wirey font is harder to read. and picture it on the side of your truck going 65mph+ down the highway..... (im sure it said something)

Here in my corner of hell we've had the situation arise a few times. Each time spurned a different solution depending on the sales persons willingness to stand their ground and relationship with the client

Yea, I just went thru my newest JV-5 manuals with some co-workers yesterday. Always good for a laugh, as well as some creative wording/spelling in the printers menus!
We use this formula:
(Shop hourly rate) x (hours it takes)
We always charge peeling by the hour. Especially removing reflective! You just never know have long it will take and how delicate the operation will end up being.
