Hello All.
Having issues with printing on both units.
On 1st xc-540 pro III the Heads are all firing correctly but seems I'm getting separate color shadow as shown in pics.
On the 2nd I have blue cast or glow around everything almost always. Same thing, heads are all firing correctly.
Anyone...
I cleaned my encoder strip with 91% alcohol and it was a problem. First time actually having an issue after cleaning it.
So I flipped it, burned the little holes in the strip and used Acetone this time to clean it. Seemed to be fine now. So lets hope. I have another in stick but ordered a...
Hi Joe,
Thank you for all your knowledge. I do feel taking all those precautions has helped tremendously. I did add those humidity meters to both printers so we can see where the room numbers are.
Guess I just have to keep this up for now till things change a bit.
Enjoy the weekend and thanks...
Amazing how weather effects us in our industry. I have everything grounded along with a anti static matt plus the static cords above and below the material. Always this way for years.
But seen a difference after adding an extra humidifier today which got me up to 40 percent.
Running...
That's my last option.
I've been using these and talked to there tech support. The product hasn't changed for years. So the issue is new and has to be environment or something else
Hello, Here is the test pattern.
Also,
I got the humidity up in the room with a 2nd humidifier to 35%
AND I removed the center media wheels from printing.
Seems to work now....
I FEEL THIS HAS TO BE IT AS WELL.
THANK FOR THE HELP.
Just weird at this point on both machines and suddenly start happening.
Guess I am going to have to flush the units at this point.
Will Just flushing work?
Regards, Anthony
Hi,
I am having the same issues with both my XC 540 pro III machines!
Same shit with the wheel tracks and fuzzy edges.
I think someone posted it was the 3rd party inks at this point. I have been using Nazdar for 2 years now no issues till the past 2 months.
I have been going nuts. Changed so...
Even if I move the rollers away I am still getting the over spray tracking elsewhere in the prints. Sometimes cyan and sometimes black... Totally frustrated. This is on both units and started at the same time a month ago. But some days it's fine and others just suck.
I am using oracal 3551 GRA GLOSS.
It's not scraping at all.
It just puts a mist of oversray in randowm places or where the wheels tracked prior.
I cleaned the wheels and decoder strip as well.
As for the print head age. About 3 years old. But it's doing it on both the printers not just one.
I have a humidifier in the room trying to boost it up but I can get it to 28 and sometimes 30 only.
Hello Everyone,
It started again.
Having a recent issue past few weeks with both my Roland XC-540 Pro III.
Heads are clean, Test print is great and all firing as they should.
It seems to be dragging Black across areas of my prints. Even where the wheels are? There are no marks or ink on the...
