"what if you secure the poly to a place on the frame that isnt going to be seen and then just heat it with a heat gun while you bend it around the rest of the frame"
Because you'd have to heat a 14x6.25" perfectly evenly for the bend to look nice. Can you really do that with a heat gun. Years...
I want to wrap a piece of 1/16th white polycarbonate around this box
we will also apply a piece of 1/16th white polycarbonate to the front and back flat surfaces and use a trim router to make it look nice.
I have used double sided tape to hold down the plastic to the aluminum frame, however it...
I hired a new worker and he pays no attention to detail.
Needless to say I need to either rip off the work he did or find some kind of polycarbonate filler.
I know with ABS plastic you can take and melt it in acetone and use it to patch up holes in abs sheet.
My plan is to fill in cracks and...

the HX30000 textured leather vinyl is $1200 for a 54"x100' roll which is $3 a sq ft.
For that price I can buy REAL leather and spray adhesive it on!
These faux finishes just dont' seem economical to me. oh well looks like I'll just cover it with textured abs laminate, which is about 50 cents...

17$ aluminum blades for track saw work great.
well I've been testing out the oshund aluminum blade for a week and it is just as good as my over priced tenryu. Only difference is the blade thickness is slightly thinner so you need to put a washing bushing so the blade nut can tighten down...
if you know of a paint that can be rolled on to Polyethelene and stick I'm all ears.
but my guess is there is no such thing and even if there was getting an even coat would be almost impossible.
This will be applied to polyethylene plastic panels 24x68" in size
needs to easy to hand apply without bubbles so air release is best
i do have 24" laminator I have used to apply vinyl films in the past but it would have to be modified to roll these 3/8" thick panels through!
If textured finish...
I have some trade show walls I am making out of conpearl plastic which doesn't have a very attractive finish
i do not want to add a lot of weight to the walls
i have 40mill abs textured plastic sheets I could use but would prefer a lighter adhesive vinyl
I've used black leather contact paper in...
Well I finally found a place with reasonable prices for metal cutting saw blades with 20mm bores which is what many track saws use
http://www.carbideprocessors.com/fer...un-sbf-054050/
The trick is thinking outside the box and using smaller than normal 160mm/6.3in dia blades. Use the 5 3/8"...

are clear coat alterantives, but at $80 a gallon or so, they are not cheap,
aluminum also has to be scrubbed good and clear...
i've already bought the glues and like others i'm always open to new vendors with better pricing. apparently there aren't any companys wiht better pricing than ellsworth.
are you serious, you think I actually sit there and wait for glue to dry?
do you watch your water till it boils?!?!
it takes about 30 seconds to put some glue on and pop it in and then it is done. the next day when it is dry i put it in a box for customer.
it takes a heck of a lot more time...
The 3m stuff worked fine. Thanks to those that offered help.

if you haven't than thanks for reading and trying to help.
if you have never used any type of glue on aluminum, than you probably can't help me out...
we make this
this is what we make and it is probably 60 pounds using the thinnest 16 gauge tubing, however the thin tube is not durable where it connects so we need to use thick wall pipe where the sections connect together, thus my need to weld or glue heavy duty pipe onto light gauge tube...
