How do i get the caps to go down? XC-540. I dont have a (cap&wiper ctrl) option in the service menu. worse case scenerio I guess I could start a limit initialization test and thatll drop the cap tops, and then just turn the machine off?

Thank you guys. I did the strip of banner thing and went from the platen to around the take up roll. It all seems level. I measured from the ground to the take up reel, to the tensioner, everything seems good. I changed the outside rollers and its still doing it. I have no idea whats going on.

Dampers, probably cap tops, sub tank, print heads. I think I can do it all, but what software will I need to get everything working correctly in the end? Where can i find information on this?

Someone suggested moving to STS inks for at least black and yellow, has anyone done that and has this black ink issue happened when using STS inks?

I found them, didnt realize they were right after the ink cartridges. I can pull all the way up to the damper in the head, so i guess it is a damper issue. I wonder if the heads still good. Anyone have any idea where I can buy dampers online?
