I would also go for the firewire cable which is transferring the data from the datarelay to the carriage pba. If you could provide the machine logs it can easily be checked.
Check resistance of heater element in each curing module. You can also swap them and check if position-code varies. The second error code can be a result of the first code thrown.
Have you re-mounted the black plastic stopper on right hand? The original belt comes preassembled correctly. On the u-bracket you have to holes. The round shaped should be on the bottom pin.
If the encoder is correctly mounted there should be a gap of about one millimeter to the bracket corner.
The issue with printmech/primer valve I had too.
But to get this issue resolved the diagnostic is running quite to short.
My way is to use a pressure gauge and inflate the system using a syringe. Kink every tube until pressure stays stable or kink all tubes and release one after the other...
The lucky thing about these units is that you can replace each part on your own. Maybe you need some advice by phone, but it reduces costs when a repair is needed.
Felts are not presoaked. The left front is just the felt. On right side is a oil reservoir to constantly apply oil to the main rod. The rear rod needs to be oiled from time to time. The felts of the rear rod are not accessible easily when replacement is required. But during SMK3 all oiler felts...
The password is created based on technician credentials at HP. It requires to be trained @ HP. Most of diagnostics are available to operator. Those who are not should only be used with necessary skills to prevent from additional damages.
The way HP does it is less complicated for unskilled users. You don’t have to pay attention about the transitions, GCR, UCR. But on the other hand you are limited in gamut.
