  1. Need Help Irregular Cutting D140

Came back after a couple of days laminated a few sheets and started cutting with the barcode like I normally do and my cutting was way off. Seemed to be about 1/16" off in some places, near the center of the sheet. The outer two edges were fine. I noticed as the moved to the cuts near the middle...
  2. pinchroll errors on Roland SP-540V

Definitely the carriage cable. I had the same issues on mine and had to replace it and worked fine after. Definitely get a manual to see where the cable goes. It's not really hard just a little tricky in spots to get in.
  3. Question Storefront website with pricing options

True. It's basically a way to funnel people and try and give me a little bit more hands-off to getting people quotes really. I'll have to see about a form as well. I'm not sure my clients are into that kind of thing, most don't even know where to begin with ordering stickers. Basic things like...
  4. Question Storefront website with pricing options

Stickers, either die cut or in sheets for now maybe other stuff later. I can afford to have something setup, I'm just not sure about associated costs for websites like that. I don't have any site building experience, which is probably why I can't find something I can do myself for this type of...
  5. Question Storefront website with pricing options

I don't have a website but I get asked often and I would like to try to funnel business inquires through it rather than dealing with private messages from lots of people and it would just smooth out the ordering process I believe. With that...does anyone know where I can build a site that I can...
  6. Need Help Die-cutting labels and stickers

Care to enlighten on your method of cutting? It seems everyone has a different way of doing it. I'm interested to hear! Some people, do the contour cut then perf cut the stickers, some do a single cut and they pop out, others, like myself, do a two-pass deep contour cut.
  7. Need Help Die-cutting labels and stickers

That's good to hear on that material! I'm still not sold on the take-up reel yet. Pretty much all my stuff gets cut down to sheets or individual stickers so I don't see a need for it. In my setup. yet. By the way what angle blades do you use in your Graphtec for doing through cuts on stickers...
  8. Need Help Die-cutting labels and stickers

I don't think they are using FlexCut in this, rather just a deep contour cut. It can definitely do it with some experimentation and practice and getting every setting just right. I also think the Graphtec would be better for this since you have a larger surface are that is flat for the vinyl to...
  9. Blade depth changing during cutting.

Just curious...what angle blade do you use for these types of cuts? Anyone with a Summa what angle blade are you using for doing full cut out stickers?
  10. Blade depth changing during cutting.

Yes! Gonna send you a PM!
  11. Blade depth changing during cutting.

Yeah it definitely was the blade holder. I got a new one and had very little problems cutting after I switched them up.
  12. Blade depth changing during cutting.

I tried one cut but it doesn't seem to cut cleanly enough for the sticker to be popped out of the sheet easily. I found 2-pass works great, just takes a little longer. I'll give it another go though. Yeah I definitely have to reset the blade every time I change it to do these deep cuts. I'm...
  13. Blade depth changing during cutting.

I've gone back and forth on this. While it's not meant to do them, I've seen several people state they are doing these types of cuts on their summa. I do two cuts that are just deep enough to just break the backer slightly and then I can pop them out. However no one can seem to say how they do...
  14. Blade depth changing during cutting.

So I got it to work with a few sheets and now I'm back to the same issue again. I don't know what is happening. Cuts start out good and then the depth goes away. I've tried multiple pressures, adjusting my blade depth, using a new blade, with no real success. Out of a sheet of 100 stickers I get...
  15. Blade depth changing during cutting.

This was it! Put a little thread tape on it and it was nice and snug, felt secure and then cuts improved greatly. Great suggestion as this helped so much!

  17. Blade depth changing during cutting.

I just cut one sheet. All circles and the blade holder adjustment piece is definitely moving. The cuts started great, pretty ideal and as it moved up the sheet the cuts got deeper. The blade got turned out about 1/8th of a turn from where it had started. I'm going to only assume this is a worn...
  18. Blade depth changing during cutting.

Yeah I might have to adjust some things. I'm playing with different pressures for it now. The blade holder is definitely moving. The last sheet I just cut it actually got deeper the more I cut.
  19. Blade depth changing during cutting.

Possibly. I did change my overlam recently but I'm on my third roll and now just having problems. I'll try slowing it...I've moved my pinch rollers around a little but still the same result.
  20. Blade depth changing during cutting.

I had to cut another sheet this morning. It's only on one particular shape this is happening. I even rotated the image 180 to see if that would change anything. Set my blade and pressure to where I have it for these types of cuts. Test cut worked fine so I proceeded to to the whole sheet. First...
