    Not sure:
  2. Unbelievable beauty in the utilitarian....

To grab the attention of signmakers from Texas long enough for them to read all of the instructions. Keeps them distracted so they don't put their private parts on any of the glowing-red, cast iron parts while it is running. It's a 1907 OSHA thing.
  3. Unbelievable beauty in the utilitarian....

What was the process for printing those instruction plates? They still look good.
  4. Unbelievable beauty in the utilitarian....

Nice, a real Steam Punk device that makes - steam.
  5. Flexi Can't Cut Corners Properly

works on outside corners - blade cuts past the turning point then starts the next leg past above the turning point to keep the corner from lifting or tearing instead of cutting. I've used it a few times, seems to help on some materials.
  6. Cooling down a warehouse during summer

There's always the 'clothing optional' option unless you welding or grinding.
  7. New start!

Just wait a few years Tex, it is all based on a bell-shaped curve. You start out knowing nothing, you climb the ramp up to the peak - you know everything you are going to know - then start slipping and sliding down the backside to the 'knowing nothing' beginning/end state. I ask myself these...

It will look much better with a pocket on the top and bottom for the ropes. With just the zip ties it will pull and bow away from the rope where there are no zip ties. You can tension the banner with cords in the 4 corner grommets pulling it into the posts. If you are worried about the top rope...

My only question is where did Tex park his boom lift so he could get up high enough to install those top rails?
  10. Highlight from ISA

Wonder if all the display setup was restricted to union labor only.
  11. Disastrous experience with mutoh assistance

There are some printer techs here on the list, maybe one will join in and have some answers. I wouldn't touch it until you are sure they are not going to do anything. If you start pulling it apart they won't have any obligation to fix their errors. If the dealer is not willing to help and Mutoh...
  12. Knowledgeable, Experienced and Professional Sign Veteran Seeking Remote Work

AI Tech - listening, learning, and responding: "Things took a weird turn when Associated Press technology reporter Matt O'Brien was testing out Microsoft's new Bing, the first-ever search engine powered by artificial intelligence, last month. Bing's chatbot, which carries on text conversations...
  13. Real estate skid signs - PT lumber or not?

Back? I thought that was a photo of the front of Tex's signs.
  14. Half lettered trucks sold rant

Only looks bad when you see a truck you lettered on CNN with a recoilless rifle welded into the bed somewhere in the middle east.
  15. Artificial Intelligence Art Generation

I went to chatgpt to see what this was all about. It asked me if I was human before it would talk to me. Why would it ask that and why should it care? I asked if it was really sentient and my pc blue-screened.
  16. Looks like the Easter Bunny is going to be pretty sore this year

Potatoes on average are much larger than eggs. Have a good weekend all
