  1. digi print supplies ink

I'm highly skeptical that there is genuine Roland ink in those cartridges. If they work and save you money, more power to ya. But I've sold genuine ink for Roland, Mimaki, Mutoh, and Epson and $85 is less than cost for dealers.
  2. Wanted HDC for JFX200-2513

I can get you a new one from Mimaki if they have it in stock. Feel free to call in and someone can help you out.
  3. Mimaki JV300 160-Plus Ink Chips & 3rd Party Inks

Technically there is no such thing as a Mimaki unlimited chip. Most of the third party chips are simply 1 liter chips. The re-setters are a better option for sure but keep in mind that even they aren't unlimited in most if not all cases. They tend to have a limited amount of resets that need to...
  4. Holographic Rainbow Media - Sensor reading problems

Try printing a red box behind the marks. Helps the sensor see contrast better.
  5. DX5 Head Ultrasonic Cleaning

In my experience ultra sonic cleaners don't do any better than a simple flush with a syringe.
  6. XC-540, printing blank

I'd make sure to test the fuses outside of the machine as you can get incorrect readings while installed sometimes. Other than that, if the fuses are all good, it might be head damage although it would be very weird for all of the heads to get damaged in the same way. Unfortunately it seems to...
  7. Need Help Roland SP-540v flashes "Service Mode" but then quickly jumps out of Service Mode... I'm stumped...

Once it boots up, you should be able to go into the menu and there will just be new item called Service Menu. In my experience it usually doesn't look like you've made it into service mode until you go into the menu and see the new item.
  8. What is ............................. ??

My mom ran for office in her county and had me make some campaign signs. She sent me a power point file. My own mother! I of course exported it as a PDF and elevated the design a bit in illustrator but come on ma!
  9. Converting heat press to pneumatic

There are some pretty cheap automatic heat presses from China. It's basically an electromagnet, timer, and some bike shocks as far as I can tell.
  10. Mutoh 1204 vj help

Check your cable connections for partially plugged in cables, damaged leads, corroded or dirty leads, anything that would cause a short int he head circuit. Basically the head signal is getting messed up due to a bad cable or even possible damage to the head or one of the boards.
  11. mutoh 1324 cyan and yellow not working

Your cap top is probably just worn out. You could pop a new one on fairly easily but a whole new station will also do the trick most likely. You probably just aren't getting good suction.
  12. Changing color profile on Mimaki TS300p-1800

I agree with FrankW, also, I have a customer who uses florescent inks just like you are describing in a JV33 and he got his profiles from the ink manufacturer.
  13. Mutoh 1624 KCMY S/C Readerr

    Are you using OEM inks?
  14. Need Help Mutoh 1304 caping station no all color - only magenta

There is no alignment for the cap top/head on these machines. As long as all the screws fit in the proper place without having to bend any brackets etc. it should line up. When you did the cap top replacement, did you flush some cleaning solution through the tubes to make sure they aren't...
  15. Rant trying to fix a mutoh 1204a

As a certified Mutoh tech for over 13 years, I agree. Although they tend to be better translated than Mimaki manuals, Mimaki at least has electronic troubleshooting guides for each machine. Mutoh's philosophy seems to be, if you get this error code, replace this part and don't ask questions...
  16. Mutoh 1614 - EO74Err CR2 Current (HELP)

CR overcurrent errors mean the motor is taking too much voltage to move and/or the main board isn't receiving encoder data. If the rail hasn't been cleaned and greased in a while, you might as well take care of that. Clean the encoder with some alcohol and a swab or lint free cloth as well. If...
  17. Need Help JFX-200 Head 2 not working

I haven't had an entire head go out on a JFX200 yet but on most other machines I work on, it indicates a blown fuse somewhere in the system. I would test the fuses on the HDC board for continuity. I believe there is an electrical troubleshooting guide but I'm having trouble finding it.
  18. Parts

Most likely! I'm sure there is a supplier closer to you if you Google it.
  19. Parts

If you click on the link, you'll see the price. I don't like to post prices on here because we end up getting calls for prices from 10 years ago! It's hard to see but if you hover over the Roland DX4 print head text, it is a link.
  20. what's next?

As far as vinyl goes, I think you'll find that more and more of the little guys are going away and you can only find it at the Fellers and Grimcos of the world. As a smaller dealer, a large portion of our sales used to be vinyl 10 years ago. While we do still carry some basic vinyls and...
