Have a request for labels going on jars that will be permanently frozen.... If I print them on the Mimaki, I would not think that it would be a problem as long as they are adhered at room temperature and allowed to cure for 24 hours?

Great Tip Fred.... I have never done any maintenance in that area, but certainly will now as I have had the odd roll crumple up...always figured the sprocket pattern was the culprit.

Maybe the head is coming down with too much pressure on one side?

Some vinyl suppliers don't cut away the vinyl on the perf and if you get adhesive buildup on the sprocket, it will slip.

What else do you want me to talk about. Golf? Bowling? I do however have a ton of great customers who never give me grief, and those are the ones who keep my business alive...it is the few numbskulls who cost more than they are worth. I also ask a lot questions about my printer.

I don't think they are hard to replace, but it was weird how it broke. I was cutting some vinyl off the roll and the head went to the top and seemed to see the edge of the vinyl then moved back 4" to cut that section, then runs right into the metal guide piece that holds the vinyl down on the...

On top of that , they are a very large promotional company, so one would thin...there must be thousands of rulers floating around from all the screw up jobs lol

For what it's worth I sent him an email Friday night explaining that if his client found them to large we would reprint fast and get them out. I don't know if this guy has connections in the company and don't need the headache if he does. This crap seems to be happening more and more lately...
