  1. Mutoh JR. Problem

My first thought is alignments. My second is that this might be a coated material and with rich black you may be putting too much ink down too quick at too low a temp?
  2. Falcon Jr, mid print, black head jumping?

He's probably correct, perhaps I am reading too much into the pics.
  3. Toucan LT "Check Head Count"

Probably reaching its expected lifespan based on droplet count. You can replace now, or when it starts to fail.

  6. RJ-900 E084erry2current error

084 is a pf overcurrent error. Make sure that the gritted roller is not bound up and turns freely. Could be a belt, a drive motor, or some binding in the feed system. If it is a 084err2 That could be a catch all error and rather hard to track down. Clean you encoder strip for the...

  9. Mutoh Valuejet 1204 A - Postershop V.7 - drivers needed

http://service.mutoh.com/#/Printer%20Information_Manuals/VJ-1204/Profiles/Onyx/ There is a Print Install for 1204 and 1604 that should work. Looks like the same one located here: ftp://ftp.onyxgfx.com/TechSupport/7.0/print_drivers/7.0.5/
  10. VJ 1618 firmware

You need to make sure that you get the firmware that goes with your printer. Europe, Japan and US firmware can be different and may not work on other versions. Probably what has changed is the PQ modes (resolution, as new modes were added), what you really want is a newer driver for your RIP.
  11. just got a mutoh vj1614 64"

http://www.mutoh.com/pdf/ValueJet%20Effectsa.pdf The difference between wave 1 and wave 2 is the order in which dots are laid down. There are really no hard and fast rules for which wave to use. I still use wave 2 Most everyone else here has moved to wow.
  12. E081 Cap Sensor error on Falcon II Outdoor

Probably not, but you could have loosened the sensor, then knocked it out of place.
  13. Ever seen this before?

I am guessing it looks like a head failing. It looks like it is take time to 'warm' up. I would check out jiarby's ideas first.
  14. mutoh falcon II and outdoor ink compatible?

You will need another card. PM me your serial # and I will see if I have a spare card for your yellow.
  15. Falcon Jr, mid print, black head jumping?

Sorry, I took time off to get married! This does look like a physical displacement, not that I have ever seen anything quite like this. Does there appear to be any pattern to this 'movement'?
  16. How do you know when a print head has gone bad?

If the nozzle check is good, could just be feed calibration.
  17. need help: printed image to be sewn over checker flag

All depends on the ink set. http://www.sublimationinkprinters.com/2009/09/sublimation-printing-all-you-need-to-know-about-sublimation-ink.html
  18. Mutoh 1204

Maybe, The black looks more electrical. As it is near the capping station, looks like it could be the cable to the head or head board cable is binding causing misfiring. Harder to tell on the other pic.
  19. Mutoh Ink Cartridge problems

There has been a notice about cartridges, but none on ink that I am aware of.
  20. Mutoh Falcon 48" Printing out of alignment?

Most likely not random. You could keep a log on the machine. Log your issues and what you did to resolve it. Just a log of your issues can be invaluable when trying to troubleshoot problems. I recommend logging issues with dates and times. And anything else that may be unique in your...
