I agree. You need to factor in a flate rate for any one job. We have ours at minimum of $35. so that $24 decal now becomes $59. if they order more than one decal, well then that $35 starts to break down the price. e; for 3 decals would be ($35 + $24 + $24) = $27.67 ea.
Here is a photo of our "EZ-Taper" laminator. I also attached a photo of an ACP with laminate that was leaving bubbles.
Hard to see on photo but the bubbles are all the way up the 8ft length of the sheet. 3 rows as shown.
this looks like a "EZ-taper" laminator. we have one as well and we had the same issues. Worked great for years and then started to leave bubbles down the length of a print. We contacted the company. They were originally built in Australia and a Canadian company in Calgary bought them out and...
wow! just wow!
I to was looking into getting this R series printer because it will produce excellent prints THAT DON'T SCRATCH as easily as the FB750 printers.
After seeing this post I am completely disappointed!
Why buy an extremely expensive printer, that is supposed to produce prints that do...
Yes. I had a similar issue and we had to remove the brushes from the carriage motor and blow it out with a compressor. Quite a bit of dust/dirt cam out. tech said if motor is this dirty it will give false readings on the encoder.
in my case it was the stepper motor that moves the carriage, attached to the long belt. What happened is the brushes got so dirty that they started to give false movements and no movement at times. I would imagine it can happen to any of the motors.
I had a similar issue on our HP45500 years ago and it was the stepper motor brushes that needed cleaning.
Remove the brushes and use a compressor to blow the motor out.
well!!! this file you sent is working properly when I open it in ONYX. Thanks a whole bunch...but, now tell me what I am doing wrong!
I set up my SPOT colour CutContour swatch the same way I did in both other computers. Please re-explain how I go about setting up my cut contour swatch please!!
tried .eps as well and no difference. I used to export all my print files as .eps files but our ONYX tech said it is better if it is a .pdf because .pdf and .tif keep all the meta data attached to the file and it is a better format for printing.. Just saying!
