  1. Cyan Overspray on Falcon II Outdoor

If it were just a single color, I would say head. But only with multi colors....probably motherboard, head board, maybe RIP(at the outside)
  2. Service Tech

This could be related to static, or a sign that the head may be nearing the end of it's live cycle. Are you running in low head height? You should also be running with the head fan off.
  3. Mutoh Head Cleaning ?

I fold mine over, then tuck the leading edge down so that the head doesnt catch on it.
  4. Mutoh Head Cleaning ?

Yes, it is safe, if you use a lint free cloth and proper cleaning solvent and keep the cloth wet. The cleaning solution from the cleaning cartridges works the best, denatured alcohol is probably the second most common used, it will take longer and may evaporate faster.
  5. Printer cleaning?

Try Simple Green first, with a little elbow grease. Denatured Alcohol if that doesnt work.
  6. Mutoh Head Cleaning ?

Just let it set, I like to rewet every 20 minutes or so for an hour or more depending on how many nozzles are missing. Immediate do a clean, then a nozzle check. It is also the best time to clean the steel rim around the head, the wiper and cap while the ink is still soft. You should...

  11. ink/solvent waste

Depends on your local regulations. Around here, the regulation is 'no free liquids', so as long as it cant leak, it can be trashed. You can also check with those companies who recycle oil from service stations and car dealerships, to have it recycled. We use a service that...

I am with Stealth Ryder, The technical support that comes with your purchase of Printer and Cutter can be invaluable to someone new to printing/cutting. These guys sell and service a LOT of this equipment, and can save you hours and literally thousands of dollars in wasted time and...
  13. USB long length connection

In reality you probably want to hook your printer up with an IP cable. For the cutter, IF it actually sends USB data, you should be able to use a USB repeater. I know that the Mutoh cutters use a USB cable but not USB code, so a repeater will not work on that, and the cutter needs to be...
  14. Mutoh VJ-1604 Life Times warnings

You can reset the counters in Maintenance Mode, call your dealer or Mutoh and they can walk you through it. Inaccurate sizing could be the pf motor (page feed) and pump and cap could be your spraying issue. You can do PM, and change them at your own convience. Or wait til they fail and...

  17. Wiper Blade stuck up front...Please help!

Depending on the printer, this should be on a gear system. Hopefully, you can rotate the gear and put the wiper back in it's correct place. You probably will want to at least take it apart enough to clean whatever is jamming it.
  18. printing extra black, makes shadow

Actually, the alignment on the Jr's can be a pain. You will need a Service Manual and some patience or luck. There is a ratchet type system, where you loosen the set screw and raise or lower the ratchet wedge.
  19. printing extra black, makes shadow

Sounds like mechanical alignment. Timing alignment should be left or right. Static/head issues could be every direction or head height.
