  4. Valuejet take up reel pics please :)

There is just a flag and sensor mechanism that is controled by the position of the swinging bar. Should be a green light on when powered. As the bar drops, it moves the flag away from the sensor (or maybe to the sensor) turning on the drive motor which tightens the media raising the bar and...

There are a series of muffin fans under the dryer platen that provides suction Could be they are just getting dirty. You dont want to remove the platen under the print head, it takes a jig to get this back in alignment. Someone more familiar with this model may be able to tell you which...

How much is much different? If in 45 minutes you are able to recover 10-20 % more nozzles, then if may be worth your while to continue. If you got none or nearly none, then Stealth Ryder is probably correct, perhaps your not getting a good seal at the capping station or the pump/tubing...

You are missing almost half of your black nozzles. Both the A side and B side are firing, you just have lots of plugged nozzles. You dont really turn off A or B, you can just pick a Wave form that uses only the A or B. The nozzle check is THE prime troubleshooting guide for print issues...

It is sometimes very difficult, if not impossible, to diagnose issues long distance. Having two techs on location and not providing any real insight, can demonstrate how difficult it can be for someone here on the phone trying to diagnose the problem, with sometimes very limited information...
  15. Mutoh new ink disaster

If there was a leak between the needle and the cartridge plug you should be seeing air bubbles in the lines. Color shift in the middle of printing can be from cross-contamination, where it would start printing the wrong color and then shift to the right color after the contamination was...

That is correct. If they do, they will wick ink out, mix colors in the dampers (cross-contamination), or can even empty a set of carts overnight.
  19. Capping Station Pads swelling? Solution here.

You dont want them against the head, these should be down in the cap, 'far' from the head.
  20. Lever Stuck

No defect. The carriage just has to be in the right place. I think tomence is correct, it may well be a tab on that cover that pushes the mechanism to allow the lever to raise.
