Thanks to jwlllpl I contacted wide image solutions. It was 147 for the part as they would have to dismantle a unit for it. I took that as, you cant just buy the rail. That would also explain why jw said it didnt have a part number.

Everything is normal except that bar. Its drooping in the middle pretty bad. My other one doesnt do that and it doesnt have the roller problem. If you look at the bar from the front, in the middle of the bar, you can see distance between it and the plotter. That isnt supposed to happen.

Got the 8600 plotter and i think i need to replace the bar that goes through the rollers. I just dont know what its called to find the part number. Its drooping for some odd reason. I think its why my rollers wont stay put.

Amazon has them fairly cheap. Probably not that exact size but you could easily cut them down.

You wont hit that with CMYK. 3M sells a fluorescent orange but its diamond grade and pretty expensive. They also sell it in wrap material. Might sell it in an engineer grade, too. IDK There are other companies out there that sell fluorescent colors. I just know how some people only want 3M...

Stroke, height etc varies from font to font. If it is too short, or too high, just manually change it. Well, if it doesnt throw it out of proportion too bad. When i type out street signs, I use highway b font. Instead of a 4" or 6" size, i have to add a quarter inch

On my 360 Latex, I did some signs for a golf course. A month or so later, they call back wanting more. I couldnt get that printer to print those same colors. I did everything i could and finally just had to match the colors to the original print. Which sucks. It was an entirely different CMYK...

If it wasnt for 3M and our traffic signage, I wouldnt have HP latex. Those things are junk. No telling how much money we have lost do to color changing and printing short. Good luck to you!

Updates can absolutely do that, Marshal. I turned off automatic updates for that very reason. Did you try uninstall and reinstall yet?

I would doubt that would be enough to turn Texas blue. But no doubt the high tax and regulation loving leftists will take their politics with them.

What about orange ink?

I have a 360 and 365. The quality is good IMO. We can print on clear material (a positive for the screen shop) with about 10pt fonts and it will be good enough for a crisp print. Quality isnt what i would worry about with those printers though...
