I got it here too just now. Only happened once for me though. I don't think it is me clicking links activating it; I think it is one of the "banner ads" running a plugin to pop up a secondary window. I'm running professional malware/virus/adware software here...

It looks liek it really likes B/W raster images best, but it will take a few other file types. I can get everything I want to from Adobe, and it also has a Corel plug-in but I haven't tried that yet.

Looking through my window currently at a semi trailer entirely wrapped with spray-laminated super thin crappy vinyl that the guys are just beginning to wrestle off. We see a lot of these, but I've NEVER seen any fire truck graphics produced that way.

You know, a photo would go a long ways in helping others find what you are looking for.

Works great for us here, we use Mimaki plotters with it and everything works great. I have had trouble with radial gradient fills in Illustrator files doing wacky things in the RIP, but nothing else I can recall.

We run Onyx Poster Shop and Onyx ProductionHouse (two separate RIPs) I think both are running version 11 still.

We run our Epsons and Mimakis here on Onyx; it is really pretty simple to use once set up. We only run a couple different profiles here and they print beautifully every time. We also do a LOT of print-cuts with Onyx w/o issues.

Really, any used laminator should do fine for masking large quantities of vinyl graphics. We use an old Titan laminator here for masking.

We only use the extended overlaminate on products where it is required. (like Leo's) We do not do that on Real Gold brand products.

3M 8519 is what we have used for 15+ years for this type of application. We have done a LOT of firetrucks this way, but it all started because some materials require it. A lot of modern materials (Real Gold for example) do not require this type of 1/8" border laminate.

We have two Epson's here and one runs on Onyx Production House and the other runs on Onyx PosterShop. They print the same, the only difference I've ever seen is that one (postershop?) only lets you install two printers while the other I believe is unlimited.
