I am gearing up to replace my printer with a VS and have used Triangle inks for 10 years- my ink guy sez he has heard of 'micro-bubble' problems with the single head machines. If you are going to post to tell me to use Roland ink... don't please. I get to do it my way and you are free to do it...

Someone on this forum (I think? Never totally sure of anything anymore) posted a 3M directive on this problem- do a pull test, wash 2-3 times with IPA and try again. Gene

When I google 'RECI Z2 90 watt co2 laser' it comes up with the laser tube? What is the brand of machine? I see a 'Model: MornTech MT-L1290' Chicom 100w laser on ebay for a very good price with support in California.

If it's new I assume you are talking SP? I have a VP540 (the 'i' was a software upgrade) and it is a wonderful machine. I had a SP300 which was a workhorse too but has 2 heads- VP is 4 heads and much faster. Gene

I get that on my VP540- I understand it to be chromatic banding (like mowing grass bi-directional?). What printer do you have- I am looking at a VSi with cmykX2 and they claim it cures this. Gene
