There's a sign or two (or more) we've made that have spelling errors that no one has ever noticed....
One is a liqour store where the category sign is "NON ALCHOLIC", been there for 10 years.
So you will get all their other existing business along with a trained employee for the cost of the equipment? Sounds like it may work and also give you a more diverse income stream.
Try looking for architectural panels instead of sign panels. I don't remember the name of the brand, but we quoted a job to reface a storefront with some panels that were similar to ACM but came in more colors. One of our sign suppliers also distributed commercial panels.
What kind of "sign boards" are you using?
My first option is always to try to use a prefinished product.
If that's not possible then the materials used vary with the type of project.
If your mural is covering a large specific area why does that area have to be painted at all?
The other suggestion is to try a wallpaper type product like Phototex
How I would handle it depends on the client.
So he's a good customer but you haven't seen him since you did this design? He hasn't brought any of his other work to you since?
If that's the case I would send him a polite email, highlighting the "fine print" on the proof about design rights and...
I went to check out their website and didn't see a link? But when I googled it I came up with company in Wisconsin that has the same name, doing the same thing and looks like they have all the licenses?
Hyatt out of Buffalo has good web ordering. Grimco & Fellers have distribution points in New England. I would also check with Hart (Boston) and Gartson (MA & CT), though they're not web based they are good suppliers.
Are you far in the boonies that you don't have any sign suppliers that deliver to you area?
When I worked in NH we had a few that delivered out of Boston once or twice a week, and there was a supplier in Manchester.
Even if that's not an option I would look at some of the vendors that are at...
