If it's already a vector file and you are having issues it's probably a combination of double cut lines and bad paths. Ungroup and select a few of the problem lines and delete, see if there is still a cut line there when you do that. If there is you will have to check all the problem areas...

There are some really nicely made signs out there, subsurface, screened, cleared etc. but they are all pricey and may not even available for a small quantity. You could do paint masks and then clearcoat.

First I would think there would be some kind of idea from the client..I want my logo real big or I want a seascape with sailing ships...some kind of concept. With that I see no problem quoting the project as was done. Though from those numbers it sounds like it would be more of a art project...

How big, what type of illumination? Like a channel letter or halo lit? Interior/exterior? Wall mount...steeple mount? Gemini has some stock crosses.

If you need flat routing of component pieces (as oppose to finished signs or 3d carving) you may want to check out some of the plastic local supply houses, here many have routing services. You may also find a local cabinet or kitchen fabricator that may be willing to rout wood & HDU for you.

In that case I think you may need to set up to make you own blanks. The one problem I always had was getting a nice smooth surface. For sandblasted blanks belt sanding or a hand planer may be sufficient. If you need a "perfect" surface a table planer is great, but not cheap. Maybe there's a wood...

Do you do your own blasting? If not you might want to sub out the whole job.

Always ask to have it washed, rain doesn't get the the road grime off. When raining or snow/cold II also ask if they can deliver the night before so we can put it in overnight to dry/warm up
