  1. Cant find these fonts!!!

Myriad Pro SemiBold (stretched) would also work.
  2. Roland "Service Call 0110"

The pressure is only going to do one of a couple things to cause a change in the machine: - Apply pressure to a pressure switch or put tension on a cable/belt. - Move a "vision" sensor to another location so that it sees what it likes/doesn't like. - A wire could also be broken/loose on the head...
  3. Wrapping on Military Paint

Have them take it by Maaco and get a cheapo paint job that is similar to the wrap color. That'll get you a better finish to stick to. We have wrapped a lot of them with solid color 1080 and 180c w/o issues. Just make sure they're clean, but YMMV as I'm sure the paints used vary from truck to...
  4. Printed Reflective Gold Leaf

Looks good to me, can you make it edge-printable instead of solvent?
  5. Contour cut off?

Or are you maxed out on height? I would suggest putting a box around all the artwork, but your 4-corner boxes seem to show there is another issue. I'm betting somewhere the artwork has an error in it, and that is confusing the machine. I assume there is a stray point somewhere causing the issue.
  6. edge 2

Check craigslist, there seems to be some appearing on there every now and then. I know I've bought them off there before. ;) I would say my Edge 2 has had significant usage, and it says it currently has 37,367 minutes on it. Does the counter roll over? Does it also come with software, and a...
  7. test draw

sounds like electrical. possibly the ribbon cable or slider board. All the other test prints are confusing me, can you do another print and have only it in the picture and take a better photo? Why was the head replaced?
  8. Question regarding printer and encoder strip

Once you get the old strip out and lay them side by side it should be self explanatory. The strip tension is held by a spring, so if it is a hair different size it should be just fine. Use the exacto like a drill IIRC (spin it with your fingers). The sensor doesn't read all the way to either...
  9. test draw

post a photo of the print.
  10. Best vinyl for floor graphics

what type of floor? how long are they going to be down?
  11. Question regarding printer and encoder strip

http://www.signs101.com/forums/showthread.php?111401-Changing-Encoder-Strip-On-SP540V Looks like the Merchant Member SolventInkjet.com has a generic one for $89.00.
  12. Question regarding printer and encoder strip

IIRC I bought a genuine Roland part encoder strip for right around $120 back in the day... I think we bought all of our parts from Nazdar. Shouldn't be anywhere near the price you're looking at.
  13. Roland "Service Call 0110"

You can also flip the encoder strip upside down and use that portion if the top is damaged or stained beyond repair. I think you have to cut a new little hole with an exacto but it should be easy enough, it's been 6 or so years since I've had to do this.
  14. Creating Wall Mural Panels

We use Onyx rip and it is a feature in there.
  15. Some before and afters

Be careful posting pics like that online possibly w/o proper safety gear on. You may want to remove or blur that area.
  16. Continuous gradient in Omega help.

Select all your shapes and choose "Combine On". (the little blue donut, also the "0" key)
  17. Some before and afters

    Looks 1000% better!
  18. need a suplier for plastic or polystyrene printed and cut

Those are printed on a Gerber Edge. We make them here, but I am not a Merchant Member.
  19. Roland "Service Call 0110"

Clean the strip again. Cleaning the sensor isn't all that hard either. If it aint put back in the right spot you should be able to tell or adjust it easily. Lube the carriage rails also with 3-in-1 oil.
  20. mimaki cg130sriii

What software are you using to output? My Omega 4.0 has a driver for it, our Mimaki plotters here are ran by Onyx most of the time.
