  1. Bitmap paper prints upsy down and backwards

Hi again Matthew- we flexi users have missed you. Actually these are color bitmaps. Not a big deal. Still love flexi but have various reasons for sticking with F7.6. Perhaps I will buy a F10 designer package to supplement the older versions when times improve. Thanks Gene
  2. Something never tried...

For you multi screen peeps- if you do Alt- PrtScrn it will only copy the prog you are using. Someone just clued me in on that and I use it all the time now. Gene

Interesting- it looks like you are using Omega? How would you cause all layers to cut together? Thanks Gene
  4. Bitmap paper prints upsy down and backwards

I have F7.6 and sometimes when printing to my desktop printer the bitmaps are not as on the screen- is there a workaround and has this ever been corrected in later versions? Sometimes an outline that has not been separated will change to another color in an .eps or jpg also.

  7. The "B" Word...

Budget...what's that? Everything is paid as it comes in the door- mostly by credit card (I get 4-6 free plane tix a year) and that is paid every month without fail. So... if there is money in the account- it is mine. Not recommending this- but I have been in biz for myself since 1979 and it...
  8. 3M-Laminate 8518 3yr durability??????

So... has Avery started warrantying their products? Serious- after all the bad PR for years- is there evidence that they have flopped over a new leaf? I have never used Avery, but have heard much.

  10. Creaing a gradient in Flexi

I will give that a try Dr. Wood. Thanks Gene
  11. Creaing a gradient in Flexi

I have never had any luck with gradients in flexi- if you make a block of 2 colors and then do a gradient from one color to the other and compare to the 2 original colors they will not match when printed- they will on your monitor tho. I think I have imported the colors to AI or PS and made a...
  12. Vendor Quote Times

I'm afraid that this may be the new reality- everyone laid off personnel and is reluctant to hire- just flog the remaining help to try to keep up. And this goes many layers deep- their suppliers did the same thing. This is going to take some time to correct- if ever. We did the same thing-...
  13. Maybe a Roland Expert can help me

I actually have diamonds that I align the media rollers one for 30" and 54" positions so that I get them the same each time. Haven't had any problems. Gene

I would love to- we stay at the Sommersett Suites by Scripps Mercy Hosp but I always rent a car and we roam over the whole area. Where are you located? I am semi familiar with the area- been coming to SD since my daughter (my partner) was 13- and she is 42 now. My email is gene@abcsignshop.com
  15. Anyone Closing Christmas through New Year

We go to sunny San Diego that week- sometimes we leave one poor individual here- I can run the printers long distance if necessary.
  16. Company Slogans. Do you have one?

'I've never learned anything while I was talking'
  17. VersaWorks 4.0 paneling problems?

Very happy to say that I have been contacted by our resident Roland guru Robert Ozankan almost immediately! Yay! I rebooted the station and it seems to be OK- printing the last panel now, stress level is coming down- only an hour to Beer O'clock. Gene

Do a search- this has been covered many times- I think it is usually the pad on the capping station swelling up enough to touch the head when parked and wicking the ink out. Gene
