I believe these to be made by Republican fear-mongers:ROFLMAO:. I use Bob's rules with non-skid rubber tape (3M) on the back. 2,4,6, and 9 ft. I have also made .25 inch clear polycarb rules (stiffen with a strip of dibond) which is great for cutting between rows of prints and labels.
I have a Challenger paper drill also- converted to use an end mill-
drills quick holes in a stack of almost anything. Pict is of my Challenger 'twins'.
Unfortunately they are in the messiest areas of my shop :frustrated:
Amazon has a number of similar ones from that one to several hundred
dollars- I would buy one but I like to touch stuff before I buy. Like I
said I have a 30" hydraulic one- this would just be for cutting into eaches
(is that a word? I saw it written in a clothing store once) - if I could rig a...
Does anyone use one of these- looks way better than a normal paper
cutter- I think the blade cuts parallel to the paper? I have an old hyd
paper cutter from the '40s or '50s that cuts like this (weighs about 1000#)
that works great for plastics etc but is s l o w. If it cuts parallel and you...
We are always slow in winter and busy in summer- best program we
have come up with is a percentage of gross exceeding our weekly
goal and always a couple of pizzas on Friday if the previous week exceeded the goal- sometimes the pizzas mean more than the money.
Restored and repaired Corvettes for 30 years-sold out and went to a
franchise fair and connected with Sign*a*rama. They checked my
pockets (apparently deep enough) and showed me all their shops and
let me talk to their managers in the Twin Cities. At that point I was
convinced i could do it...
Ditto website- and get paid for everything (as much as is possible)
that we do. We have plenty of biz- we need to make more money
on it. I am on Medicare in two months- I may have to retire someday.
Gotta hurry, man.
I have a VP540 (you too I think? Update your profile) and a SP300
before that (5 years together) and have never done a 'maintenance'-
have left them for up to 2 weeks at a time with no problems. Rolands
are pretty much bulletproof. Manual cleaning once a month (at most)
with the VP- SP was a...
I will second this thought- 2 -30" Summas and an Edge with enVision
cutter probably 30% and Vp540 70% now. I can count about 120 rolls
of colored vinyl on the wall in this (main) room right now- and probably
30 rolls of print vinyl (30" & 54"). If I could cash out for what it is worth
I...
I took the plastic door off of my VP when new and haven't had any
strip problems. My SP was pretty constant problems with strips and
modules- also they improved the way the strip is shielded from crap.
