    One more thing-I'd hate to see this event disappear, but as the host I should let you know I'm certainly ok with looking at rescheduling to a weekend that better suits everyone. It's gonna be tough to make it work with very few attendees.

    IMO cow nose ray. THey hook up and swim away fast enough to strip your reel in seconds. And, there have been a ton of em around. Of course, there are a lot of 4-6' brown sharks being pulled boatside on jigs and gulp, too recently. Glad you found the rips. you were in the right place!
