Can't tell you anything about 123ink, but inkjetmall do some very good third party inks. I've only used their piezography dedicated sets of black inks in a 7880.

Gotta say Steeltrak. Many years ago had a client wanted just under 8x3' on DiBond, bigger than our steeltrak. Clamped down the big purple ruler, made the cuts on front face with a stanley knife, and then, how to bend and snap the off cut...? Ended up "clamping" the 12' off cut by sandwiching...

I print transparent on a canon aqueous, to back up display light boxes. Not super dense on my machine. Oce do a very expensive option, that they say takes a very high ink load (I've not tried it at 3x the price of regular options that work for my needs).

I've not seen this in over a decade of using a SteelTrak, and yes, something looks out of alignment. How is the depth on the regular cutting head looking? If this is also standing too far forward, then ISTR there are bolts top and bottom of the main body that may not be snug. Might be worth...
