If the printer is configured CMYKLcLm, then all the printheads are going to print. If it's configured CMYKCM, then when you are printing in high speed or Billboard, all the heads are fireing. If you print standard or high quality, then anly the selected heads will print. In your case, 1&2.

Right! There is a big possibility to damage that print head for good. Two rounds of head soaking should reveal if the print-head will recover or it will not.

Maybe a new power supply will do the trick.

That is on scan direction or is on feed direction?? If it's on feed direction you must clean your linear encoder strip. If it's on scan direction you have to check out your dampers.

Do the Limit Initialization! That's it. It will work just fine after that.

Very true :). If you replace that at the very first beep, you lose 25-40 ml ok ink/cartridge. Even so, there is a lot of wasted ink in the "empty" cartridges. Just turn off the printer. It's going to be ok until tomorrow morning. If the printer it's in the capping position, it will be fine.

Maybe you'll need a new capping station. If the problem will come back shortly after a manual cleaning, then you'll have to replace that.

It will work without any problems.
