I think is some dirt or some fluffy things there. Maybe some hair sticked to your print head. Most of the times those spots appear when the printing carriage suddenly changes its direction.
Do you know how to recalibrate the capping position and the linear encoder. I guess it's something with the positions of the printing carriage and the capping unit.
Just a thought..
I will never do that on a test print.... and the fact that the printer is low hours is not very relevant. It seems you have a print-head problem and the only thing that might get it right is to replace it.
Then it seems that you put a wrong fuse. Or, maybe the fuse blew up again when you turned on the printer. Check it out! This might be caused by a damaged flat cable.
Put a syringe on the end of the cap-top(where is the joint with the pump tube) and pull some ink through it. If you have a vacuum in the syringe, then the cap-top is fine. If you pull air then the cap-top does not close the heads surface and must be replaced because the cleaning is not made as...
Hi and welcome from Romania!
Is your error "Invalid pinch roll error left or right position"? Than you have a problem with the cable card connecting the cutting carriage with the scan board. The cable card must be replaced.
Regards,
If it's in the same place all the time, is it possible to be some bad connector. Some interrupted contact somewhere maybe??
Maybe something related to CR motor or CR board?
The black print-head leaves tracks like a shadow on the edges of the print (is blurry)?? Then that head is dying. Why didn't you said so in the first place? Maybe I am wrong, but that image tells me I might be right.
Attach more pics so we can discuss about this problem.
Thank you,
Regards
I'm living 350 km away from home. I fully understand you... Sometimes I'm afraid to answer the telephone when someone from home calls me. My parents are sick..and..I know...
May God bless and take care of you and your family in this hard times!
Condolences,
If there is any track of ink coming out from the print-head, then it's not the transistor. To check the transistor in a proper way, you would better take out the head board. and measure the two pins from exterior on each transistor. The right value it's between 4.12 - 4.15, I think.
Check out...
Hi,
It's very possible to have some dirt on the encoder strip. The simple fact that the encoder is a brand new one, doesn't impress the dirt:smile:. Try to clean it a little and see if it helps.
