Thanks!
do a print cut adjustment, could also be the encoder strip be careful when cleaning to not damage it. make sure you do a environment match every time you use your printer also. there could be a lot of things causing this.. give us more information.
grimco is having a sale on this IJ170c for $400.00 for a 54" roll. what are the main differences between this film and the 180c? can you still use the 8518 laminate? the only difference i have read so far is just that you have to use heat to remove it?
Thanks!
OK so i figured out the problem, the machine i was sold was damaged from the previous owner. it has a "lump" in the rounded metal front which was causing the media to lift about 2-3mil on one side of the printer which was causing the overlap on the media comp. thanks for all the reply's
your saying that the media comp having a overlap on one side and having a gap on the other side is not due to the media being loaded crooked? any ideas what this is from them? i don't understand how you set the media comp correctly when it is not constant though out width of material?
Thanks!
im using a jv3-160s i am having issues with the media comp having a gap on one side and a overlap on the other. this means the roll is not loaded in straight correct? how do you guys get the rolls loaded in straight? is this a common problem? i am having issues with 180c 60" roll
