Thats what I am doing right now to mine. Flat black,
emboss look logo on hood, Carbon accents and logo printed black on reflective. I hope it turns out like envision.
I am chasing the same issue on a JV33 . Its an ink starvation problem. I have a handful of parts coming tomorrow. I have already swapped dampers with no change but the dampers are not filling up much. I will be changing top 2 o rings on the yellows, top connectors and see if I can figure it out...
Couldn't have said it better... Another thing that doesn't get mentioned is the fact that oracal has a slightly thicker backing. This is important to me because when you roll large areas it is less likely to buckle the vinyl.
A little more info about the type of overspray and maybe a picture would help.
Is it an alignment issue (drop position) or an actual overspray? In my experience true significant overspray is a head issue.
We started using 3751RA and it's great. The only concern I have is removal down the road.
I know it has only been out for about a year but has anyone removed a 3751RA wrap after it has been on the vehicle for over 6 months?
Nothing has changed in that dept. The 26500 still has all those temperamental tendancies. Our Roland and Mimaki take about 30 secs to a min. from power up to being ready to print. The HP sometimes takes up to 10 mins.
I am surprised by your comment about the quality of the JV33 prints (the suppliers were not doing something right). I have a Roland, JV33 and HP26500 and the JV33 prints detailed, vibrant prints consistantly (with SS21 inks). Its an awesome printer and a real workhorse.
I had the exact same issue and upgrading was the only option.
My issue was that I ran it on an old xp machine with parallel ports attached to an edge. I have not been able to find a parallel card or usb-parallel adapter that will work on our other newer rip stations.
There may be techs out...
Actually I have been using a roland up until this point but retired it with the intentions of switching print-cut items to the HP
I have a JV33 I will have to setup print on the remainder of the convex I have in stock.
Thanks for the help guys.
I really like substance.
What profile are you using for substance? I am actually swithing some of my products over to substance but still using solvent at this point. The HP is a little picky...
Thxs
Yeah, we have had some crazy weather in the DFW area. We are moving to a new location and it got water inside over the weekend. Luckily we had not moved our printers yet because that was the area they would have been in.
They are busy fixing it right now but I am a little gun shy.

Has anyone had any decent results printing on convex with an HP latex? Convex does not support it but I am interested if anyone has tried it.
Thanks...
