Overstretching maybe? What other wrap vinyls have you used that do not cause these issues? I have used 970RA in police green, gloss white, gloss black and dark grey metallic and not seen any problem areas on the cars I have wrapped. Could you enclose a pic that shows the issues?

Design the wrap so there is even blue sky all around where the sides meet the roof part, and you have saved yourself a lot of trouble lining it all up. Just put most of the clouds in the roof section, and maybe some small ones towards the top of the sides, but a clean blue sky all around where...

A client of mine has recently purchased a mobile concert stage (7x10meters) and he wants some text and his logo on the sides. They are made from PVC (like banner material), but are stretched up like a permanent canvas, so they will stay in place like that, not folded when the stage is set up...

And if all goes to plan, Wall Street is picking up the bill! :D

Also, do you have regular fluorescent lighting in your work area? These do not output a full colour spectrum, so the light that is reflected off the grey print can get a purple hue. How do they look outside in the sunlight? We had the same issues at my old workplace, we got a (then) brand new...

People are actually trying to help, these trucks have a basic rectangle for a "hood" (engine is under the seats). You say you only need this, surely you customer can take a ruler and measure the width and height, instead of you going on a plane in order to do so? This whole issue can be solved...
