That is true.. And also not what I'm saying. The GX-24 is an entry level desktop machine, I know it very well and use mine every day. The ones especially made for very long runs are most likely sprocket type ones, where misaligment over distance is a non-issue. I've yet to see any friction...

Hot pink as in Magenta? Magenta + yellow = red, so check if the yellow is out/clogged etc. Do a nozzle check print.

Just found a random supplier on google to show the material, but you do get black MDF. It's a bit more expensive than regular, but maybe not as expensive as having regular MDF painted, if that is the most cost effective solution up to now...

Nicer on standard lettering vinyl (cal/cast)? Or where the T version is meant to excel? Thick/difficult materials like reflective etc?

It only looks a bit pale since it's put right next to the old one where all the colours are turned up to 11 :) Looks nice on my monitor when I cover the top one :)
