I'm doing my first signs with static cling vinyl. It appears that it's clingy on both sides, is that right? Or is it just the underside? It seems to work equally on both sides, but I wanted to make sure that was true :)

Thanks Fred, though I think you are referring to the printer? I'm referring to the plotter in that it cuts inaccurately if you line it up in the cross hairs. This is very consistent, no matter how much foil is in a cartridge. I'm glad you don't prune! More threads = more content = more Google...

I have a Copam 2500, and for the last while I've had a hard time with it cutting just horribly! I've attached an image of what it's doing. As you can see it's a really rough/jagged cut and it even causes the edge to come up a little bit. I've replaced blades and I've even replaced the blade...

I do big runs like that quite often and don't seem to have much of an issue. When dealing with colors butting up to each other I've had issues, but it doesn't seem to matter how big the run is.

I ended up throwing white in to finish since I hardly ever use white. On that 17 foot run, it only had 2 inches left ;)

I just ran out of my first color foil in the middle of a 3 color foil job. Is there a way that I can go ahead and reset it and add my 2nd and 3rd colors without losing what I've done? Otherwise I'll waste several yards of vinyl... my bad.
