In your hypothetical scenario there is no mention of turn around time. The $5/sf price could be for a standard 1 week turnaround time and in that case you could gang the print with another job.
Your material calculation is incorrect because you're assuming ink is covering the entire 54"x100" area.
You're going to have to design with a bleed and trim after printing. As for the fabric banner in question, I suppose if you're getting frayed edges you'll need to hem them.

Thanks weasel. It think it might be easier if I were used to doing it that way. I'm used to the tool in Omega and would like to copy the interface as much as possible.
Got mine at NAPA too. I only replaced one about 2 years ago and it hold the top up just fine.
