Doing them outside sucks, it is possible without issues. I always hated fighting the wind. I have plenty of room inside now for 53' trailers and I'm not looking back.
I thought 13' 6" was the legal height limit?
Looks good though, always like black trucks when they are clean.
We use Signlab as we have since we started in 2000, always wanted to give Flexi a shot though. I find signlab so easy to use though I think I would have a hard time with it. I also recently purchased Xara and I like it for some things, but definitely doesn't compare.
Exactly, just like when I placed my first order with them and didn't get the free shipping. I called to ask why and they told me that I didn't ask for it so I didn't get it and they could not credit it back, told me that they have customers that have been paying for shipping for years only...
I have to call anytime I want a discount on any item that I haven't ordered before. And besides changing prices, my sales rep is useless, I mean he can read what is in the catalog and repeat it to you but not much beyond that and I wouldn't trust his recommendations.
I thought I was the only one without a proper sign. Somehow I just can't find the time between paying customers to make my own sign. It's still on the agenda but pretty far down the list.
Good work on getting the client, not putting down your work at all, I just think it still looks unprofessional. That part is on them though not you at all, believe me I do my share of things like this, just not for high profile clients like yours.
Why not take the advise of others and work on designing your own again? How are you learning anything if you just pay for the first good concept?
At least give it a couple of tries before you throw in the towel, especially if you do this for a living.
And you take things way to personal and...
I like this idea, might I ask where you purchase them? I have done these in the past, koozies, pens, post-its, t-shirts, letter openers. Pocket screwdrivers are good too for automotive related shops, mine is by far the most used tool that I own.
+1 and they always act like they are doing you some great favor by letting you make it for them.
Had a guy that used to send all his buddies to me for all kinds of small junk that I could care less about, then whenever he wanted something done he would make sure to note that he sent all these...
I still use a lot of cut vinyl but digital printing taking over more and more of that as time goes by. I couldn't successfully run this shop without digital printing, just too many things that it either saves a ton of time weeding & masking or you just simply cannot achieve using cut vinyl...
You must not have taught your former employees this rule, I see them using air nailers on every house they build in my neighborhood.:ROFLMAO:
Couldn't resist.
Sounds exactly like the situation I'm in right now. I have the space to grow and feel the need to grow but having a hard time making that leap. Just as you say, those small projects just pile up and get pushed to the side, not a good way to make satisfied customers. On one side I am thinking...
Are there really customers out there that don't require this?:ROFLMAO: I guess I do have a few that give me a couple of days.
Seriously though I am totally comfortable with outsourcing anything that is bigger than my baby mutoh can handle. And the few close by that could handle the...
