most light up signs are either wired to a switch or timer. turning off the power should not have been an issue. guess the big question here is did you ask or where told that the power would be off prior to removal?
if there truly was no way to turn off the power. I would have charged a hazard fee.
I got an ink cartridge error on all 11 cartridges. if pull out 1 cartridge all other inks show up fine. it doesn't matter what ink i pull out to make it do this either. any ideas on what could be going on here?
try putting a piece of blue tape over the rear sensor. its not a fix but it might get you though the day. we had to do that a few times on specific material..

with the way screen printing is It shouldn't matter especially for a single color print. just make sure to let the printers know it needs to be black print and all should be good.
im going to assume you want to know the time to wait before laminating. in a rush i wait about 20 min. however most the time i try to at least wait a day, especially on prints with heavy ink.
